有什么区别?
另外还有的版本叫 Adult Edition
又是怎么回事?

J. K. Rowling named the book Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone, but the
US publisher changed the title to HP and the sorcerer's stone. A philosopher
is an alchemist, and Philosopher's stone is an imaginary stone which the
alchemists formerly sought as instrument of converting the baser metals into
gold. Socerer's stone means nothing though.

basically it's due to the difference of britain and american english.
in uk english "philosopher's stone" is actually a phrase, "magical stone
made by an alchemist".
americans especially kids would take "philosopher" as "zhe xue jia".
thus it was replaced with "sorcerer"(wizard).
there are also changes in the text,
like "jumper" in britain version, and "sweater" in american one.
above all "mum" is kept through both versions.
(should be "mom" for the latter.)
never heard adult edition for hp..t

如果我没看错，ADULT VERSION就是封面比较SERIOUS，不是CARTOONE 21..:P
