Public Key Infrastrucutre (PKI)
PKI is a practical key management scheme for an Intranet, such as for a
network of a corporation or a university. In such an Intranet,which is usually
small or middle size, it is not difficult for the organization who owns the
network set up a central Certification Agent (CA), or such a central CA
together with a CA tree or network infrastructure, or even serveral CAs well
synchronized to avoid single point of failure.
