Hi, I just installed MikTex (full version from math.utah.edu) and WinEdt.
However, after I compile my .tex file and tried to review .dvi, a message
poped out, saying
"the document can not be rendered properly because the current render
method does not support PostScript specials. Temporarily switch to the Dvips
render method?''
If I choose no, then all my figures (.eps) can not be shown. If I choose yes
, then it crashed.
How can I do for this problem? Any information is appreciated.

Again, thanks for the reply.
I do not care dvi file either. But after I tried to convert .dvi to .pdf,
all the figures were missing (I used command \epsfig).
Now I find a (not optimal) way to fix it. I first use .dvi->.ps and then .ps
->.pdf. Now I can see my figures.
Do you have any ideas why this is happening? Thanks again

did you install ghostscripts?

just forget about it. no body really cares about dvi files these days
if you can get a good ps or pdf file.
