海纳百川，有容乃大；壁立万仞，无欲则刚。
Not sure if there is really an equivalent in English. Have looked up online
but most translations are quite
crappy.

The ocean takes in hundreds of rivers.
To be big is to be inclusive.
The cliff stands up thousands of meters.
Having no desire therefore unbreakable.

就是最后一个unbreakable好像意义不很明确？
cliff少了一个f，呵呵。

上面的有点单纯的直译了.首先要明白这2句话的来源和涵义
海纳百川，有容乃大；说的是，海能容得下这么多的山川河水，是因为它的宽大。
壁立千仞，无欲则刚。来自佛经，说的是，虽然这山峰有如千把利刃，但是因为心中没
有欲想欲念，所以不感到害怕，自然就比利刃还要刚强。
照这样理解,我觉得可以这样翻:
It is the capacity of abundance that makes all rivers run into the sea.
It is nothing but the relief of the desire that makes him as strong even
standing by the bladed cliff.
