extended stay is temporary, and the impact on the foreign employment,应该

XX/XX/2012
U.S. Department of Homeland Security
US Citizenship and Immigration Services
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing on the behalf my mother, XXX, to apply for an extension of her
stay in the United States on a B2 visitor visa. My mother and father
arrived
in the US on February XXX, 2012. Their authorized stay expires on August
XXX, 2012. My father will return to China on August XXX as originally
planned. But we would like to apply for an extension of my mother’s stay
for additional six months until February XXX, 2013.
My mother has visited the US five times in the past eight years, four times
with my father and once by herself. They have witnessed the most important
moments of my life, including my Ph.D. graduation, my wedding and births of
both of my children. As travel lovers (they have been to many countries in
the past five years), they have also visited many famous cities and tourist
attractions across the US. However, since they have always come during the
spring-summer time, one thing my parents have completely missed is the
winter holiday season here, when is the best time to experience the Western
culture, the cozy holiday atmosphere, and of course, the shopping frenzy.
My
children are extremely close to their grandparents, especially my mother.
We have planned to take the kids to the Disney World for the first on this
Christmas, a place my parents have never visited before, either.
Unfortunately my father will have to return to China due to family business.
But I really hope my mother could have this opportunity to spend more
wonderful time with us. We also plan to take short trips during the fall
and
spring breaks of the school so she gets to see all the different beauties
of America. These would be all great family memories if she can be allowed
to stay with us longer.
I am XXX (职业), and my husband is XXX. We have sufficient financial
support
to cover my mother’s extended stay. My mother is a retired XXX (职业) in
China with medical insurance and monthly pension. She and my father owe a
house in China as well as a good amount of bank savings. My mother has
always left on time for all of her previous visits to the US with no record
of extra extension. The return ticket for her current visit has been
purchased from the United Airlines which can be extended up to six months.
All together, we can ensure that she will return to China before her
extended stay expires, if it can be kindly approved.
The following document is enclosed to further support this application:
- Photocopy of my mother’s B2 visa and I-94 form
- Photocopy of my mother’s passport
- E-ticket for my mother’s return trip to China
- Proof of financial support from me: bank statements, employment
verification letter
- Copies of my parents’ financial document in China: copies of monthly
pensions, house title
We would highly appreciate your kind consideration of this application. Any
questions regarding this statement can be directed to me at:

没细看下面的,光看到第一句就有个语法错误:on the behalf my mother 应该是 on
behalf of my mother.

助。
her
