以水为灵感！2024巴黎奥运会火炬设计亮相

当地时间2023年7月25日，距离2024年巴黎奥运会开幕倒计时一周年还有一天，巴黎奥组委在法国揭晓了巴黎奥运会火炬设计。

The design of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic torch was unveiled on Tuesday, marking almost a year until the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games.

巴黎奥运会火炬整体呈香槟金色，以钢为材料，全长70厘米，每支重量约为1.5公斤。

The torch, measuring 70 centimeters, is made with lightweight radiant steel and is distinguished by its champagne color.

The designer of the torch, revealed that he drew inspiration from three Paris 2024 symbols — equality, water, and peacefulness. Equality is symbolized by perfect symmetry.  Peacefulness is symbolized by the gentleness of the curves. The lower half features a relief pattern that mimics the movement of the River Seine, along which the opening ceremony will be held.

“巴黎奥运会的火种在希腊采集后，将跨越地中海从法国的马赛港登陆，除了在法国本土传递以外，奥运火种还将跨越大西洋、印度洋以及太平洋，在法国的海外省传递。”组委会介绍说。

此外，作为巴黎市中心的地理标志之一，塞纳河将作为本次奥运会的开幕式举办地，拉近了巴黎奥运与水的关系。

Water is also at the heart of Paris. As the stage for the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony, the natural venue for Olympic and Paralympic events and acting as the link between Paris and the Seine-Saint-Denis département, the Seine will be the backbone of the forthcoming Games.

Equality means putting the same ambition into organising the Paralympic Games as the Olympic Games. Following on from the emblem and the mascots, the Olympic and Paralympic Games will share the same Torch design.

Equality in the Paris 2024 project is also reflected in the strong commitment to parity in the Olympic Games: for the first time in the history of the Games, as many women as men will take part in the competitions.

“火炬的设计，无论从纵向还是横向来看，都完美对称，反映了平等的理念；而圆润的线条、简洁纯粹的设计传递着团结的信息，也代表着奥运会的和平理念。”组委会说。

Reflecting this desire for peace, the Torch, with its curves and rounded lines, is suffused with gentleness. Pure in form, almost elemental, the design of the Torch conveys generosity and solidarity.

巴黎奥运会的火炬由法国著名设计师马修·勒汉纽尔（Mathieu Lehanneur）设计完成。

勒汉纽尔表示，能够为奥运会设计火炬，是每一位设计师的梦想。“这是终生难遇的一次体验，是一次与历史的碰撞，也是一次充满仪式感、使命感的工作。”

"Such a project is a dream for a designer, because it's a project that combined everything – symbolic, technical – in one, for a big moment," Lehanneur added.

巴黎奥运会将于2024年7月26日至8月11日举行，残奥会将于8月28日至9月8日举行。
