The Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on Sept 29 this year, and National Day holiday on Oct 1, will be combined into an 8-day holiday, making it the final long holiday of the year in China.
The 8-day Golden Week will take place from Sept 29 to Oct 6, without any adjustment days before the holiday. However, individuals are required to return to work on the weekend following the holiday, meaning they will have to work for 7 consecutive days.
如果你在国庆假期后的7日-13日这7天请假，再连上后面的周末，就能拼出17天长假了，也就是可以从9月29日中秋节一直休到10月15日。
To make the most of the holiday, you can opt to take time off from Oct 7 to 13, immediately after the National Day holiday. By combining these 7 days off with the subsequent weekend, you can extend your vacation to an impressive 17 days. In other words, you can enjoy an uninterrupted break starting from Sept 29 all the way until Oct 15.
When planning your extended vacation, it is advisable to utilize paid annual leave to ensure that your income is not affected.
