2023年8月26日，麻省理工学院上海校友会成功举办了第11届年度校友大会。本年度校友大会以线下线上同时举办，除了来自上海的校友外，还有位于全球其他地区的校友以及MITAA的老师们线上参加。

The MIT Club of Shanghai hosted its 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on August 26th, 2023, with alumni participating from Shanghai and around the world, both in person and online.

活动主讲嘉宾陈航博士在是AI驱动的药物研发领域的专家。毕业于美国麻省理工学院化学系，物理化学博士学位，拥有物理化学、机器学习、免疫学等交叉学科研究背景。陈博士分享了跨学科方法在解决药物研发和医疗健康领域遇到的挑战。他也提供了如何在不断变化的科技和医疗环境中找到方向的见解，并鼓励校友们在这些领域保持积极参与。

Our keynote speaker, Dr. Chen Hang, is an expert in the field of AI-driven drug R&D. He graduated from the MIT with a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry and has a multidisciplinary research background in physical chemistry, machine learning, and immunology. Dr. Chen shared the challenges of drug discovery and healthcare, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary approaches. He also offered insights on navigating the constantly evolving landscape of technology and healthcare, encouraging alumni to remain actively engaged in these fields.

在陈航博士精彩分享后，校友会对过去一年的活动进行了回顾，并审议并通过了一项关于校友会章程的修改。与其他社团（例如北京和深圳）保持一致，提议将选举董事会的任期从1年延长至2年，但连续任期的上限仍然保持为4年。这一修改将从2024年的年度大会（即第12届董事会）开始生效。这些修改均以超过2/3的多数票通过。校友们还选举出了新一任的10位董事会成员（成员信息见文末）。让我们祝贺并热烈欢迎董事会的新成员们。

After fantastic presentations, we reviewed activities hosted by the board during the past year, as well as proposed and approved one amendment to our club’s constitution. The amendment is that starting from 2024 AGM, the term of elected board extends from 1 year to 2 years, but the consecutive term limits maintain to 4 years. The amendment was supported by more than 2/3 of alumni. We conducted board elections and elected 10 new board members (profiles listed at the end of this article). We welcome and congratulate our incoming Board members.

亲爱的校友们，谢谢你们的积极参让我们有了一个成功的AGM。正是因为你们的信任和不断的支持，我有机会继续与新老BoardMember一起共同为MIT Community贡献力量。去年，我们一起面对了许多的挑战，但我们的团结和努力使我们更加强大，在疫情间克服困难为大家带来了丰富的活动以及推动更深层次的交流。新的一年，我们承诺继续致力于服务和联络，不仅在校友间，也在全球范围。我们不仅会继承传统，更会迎来创新和改变。让我们一起携手前行，用MIT精神点亮这个不确定的世界，继续秉持我们的口号，One World, One MIT!

Dear Alumni,

Thank you for your active participation, which has made our AGM a great success. Your ongoing trust and support provide me the opportunity to continue working alongside both existing and new board members, all in the spirit of solidarity, to make meaningful contributions to the MIT community.

Last year, we faced numerous challenges together. However, our solidarity and efforts have made us stronger, allowing us to overcome difficulties during the pandemic and offer enriching activities as well as foster deeper levels of interaction. In the new year, we promise to continue our dedication to service and outreach, not only among alumni but on a global scale as well. We will inherit traditions but at the same time welcome innovation and change. Let us move forward together, lighting up this uncertain world with the MIT spirit. Shawn Shen 沈晓, Course 2 2008

Shawn Shen currently leads the Fidelity's VC/PE investment in TMT space in Greater China, with a focus on AI, Autonomous Driving, Enterprise Tech and SaaS, etc. Before that, he worked at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) with a focus on Technology and M&A. Shawn serves on multiple boards of both public and private companies. (Shawn enjoy sailing and mojito or even better sailing with a mojito in hand).

沈晓是富达一级市场基金合伙人，负责大中华区科技领域私募股权投资，专注人工智能、无人驾驶、企业服务、SaaS等领域。此前他在美国波士顿咨询(BCG)，从事科技行业的战略制定和兼并收购业务。他现担任多个企业的董事会成员（包括上市和非上市公司）。（沈晓是帆船和Mojito爱好者，且行且饮尤佳。）

Jeffrey Yang 杨求宏, EMBA 17

Jeffrey is currently the VP Finance & IT, Amcor China, Shanghai. Before that he was Director, Finance, M&A – Amcor Asia Pacific, Singapore, and CFO – Global Win Capital Corporation, North America in LA, Regional Finance Controller, Americas – Tetra Pak, Dallas Texas.

Amcor plc is a UK-domiciled and US listed packaging company. It develops and produces flexible packaging, rigid containers, specialty cartons, closures and services for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, medical-device, home and personal-care products. Annual revenue USD’14B with 50,000+ coworkers around the global.

Jeffrey received his MBA, from MIT Sloan School of Management, and his Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Donghua University. Jeffrey loves ski that conquers the mountains world wide.

Jessie Jiang 蒋斯捷, MFin 2022

Jessie Jiang is a recent graduate of MIT Sloan with a Master of Finance in Corporate Finance concentration. She attained her bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a dual degree in Economics from Brandeis University. She is currently working on the QFII trading desk in Equity Department at China International Capital Corporation (CICC). Jessie had been practicing Chinese Folk Dance for 10 conservative years starting at age 7, and was certified as the National Secondary Athlete. Now, she enjoys reading biographies, practicing bikram yoga, and exploring new spots to eat.

Jessie Jiang 毕业于麻省理工学院斯隆商学院，并获得了金融专业硕士学位。本科毕业于布兰迪斯大学，并获得了理论数学和经济学双学士学位。目前，就职于CICC中金公司股票业务部，负责QFII业务。Jessie从7岁开始练习中国民族舞并持续了十年，并被中国体育总局认证为国家二级运动员。她喜欢阅读传记、练习高温瑜伽和探索新的饮食场所。

Charles Du 杜桥，MIT 6/15 '02，MEng Media Lab, INSEAD MBA

CEO and founder of Meldd Consensus, Charles was previously Comm Director of Accenture's Search and Collaboration Global Practice, having served large client implementations across US, Europe, and Asia. Meldd is a SG headquartered startup founded on the realization that a new paradigm of Contribution dialog on blockchain backed topic clusters could facilitate massively scalable consensus much more efficiently than traditional sharing based systems, while also enabling global consensus on existential issues like Great Power Conflict and Global Warming.

Charles is also a Toastmaster, published author, ballroom dancer, 3D print designer, rabbit trainer, and jiu jitsu fighter.

袂德共识首席执行官和创始人，杜桥曾是埃森哲搜索和协作全球业务部的公关总监，曾为美国、欧洲和亚洲的大型客户软件实施项目服务。袂德共识是一家总部位于新加坡的初创公司，其成立基于区块链支持的主题集群的新贡献对话范式,可以比传统的基于共享的系统更有效地促进大规模可扩展的团队共识，同时还能就国际冲突和全球暖化等紧要问题促成全球共识。

Fred YuYang Liu 刘雨阳 PhD in Physics '19, Research Fellow in MSE '21

Fred YuYang Liu strayed from his academic training in physics, math, and materials science onto industry, and became the founder and CEO of DeepVerse, which is a ‘problem-oriented’ materials informatics startup situated at the convergence of cutting-edge technologies (machine learning, computational physics, and lab automation) to propel innovation in materials.

Fred loves blue water sailing, and is a certified RYA skipper. He enjoys riding the high waves with friends and team members around the world.

刘雨阳在物理系和材料系的学术训练后转向了实业，在MIT成为DeepVerse的创始人兼CEO。这是一家以问题导向的材料信息学初创企业，融合多样先进技术（机器学习，计算物理，和实验室自动化）专注于新材料研发、设计与落地。

帆船爱好者，也是一名英国皇家游艇协会认证的船长，喜欢和朋友组织远洋帆船旅行，共渡风浪。

Allegra Fonda-Bonardi 冯乐然 MIT-DUSP (course 11+15) '15

Allegra Fonda-Bonardi (冯乐然) studied urban planning at MIT (course 11+15, 2015) where she specialized in ecological planning and sustainable finance. She received the 2021-2022 China-US Scholars Program fellowship, which replaced the Fulbright program to China for that academic year. She is a returning MIT Board Member in Shanghai (serving 2018-2019) and is excited to be back.

冯乐然毕业于美国麻省理工学院（硕士，2015年），聚焦于生态系统管理以及可持续发展金融投资。她是2021年入选2021年-2022年 China-U.S Scholars Program 全美 24 位学者之一。曾任2018年-2019上海校友会年董事，很荣幸今年能够回到上海！

Lu Gao 高璐 Course 11 DUSP MS ‘11

Lu returned to China together with her family last year. Previously she had worked in USA and Canada for nearly two decades, where she was a director of financial advisory at Deloitte. She has served institutional investors such as pension funds and insurance companies, to make strategic investments. Her previous employers also include S&P Global Rating, leading real estatedevelopment companies, and various governments at USA, Canada, China and around the world. She supervised asset management of real estate portfolios, providing full-life cycle execution from acquisition, development, operation, to disposition, enhancing funds’ investment structure and returns. Since she landed in China, she has served global investment institutions, leading biopharma and biotech companies, and various incubators and industrial parks in biomedical industry.

At MIT, she was selected as TA at Center for Real Estate, and RA at Sloan School of Management. She is passionate about serving the MIT community and was elected as the president of Chinese Students and Scholars Association. She also serves in the board of MIT Toronto Club and MIT Chinese Alumni Group. She looks forward to making contributions to our Shanghai Club!

高璐去年随家庭海归，之前在美国与加拿大生活工作近二十年，任德勤加拿大区金融咨询部董事总监，负责产业地产战略与投资。她服务任职过美国与加拿大的公募私募养老基金险资等机构投资者，标普全球投资评级，大中型地产开发公司，以及世界尤其美国加拿大与中国的各级政府，提供关于投融资的投前筛选立项、投中战略管理、与投后运营退出等全周期的金融建议与执行。回国后服务于国内外投资机构、头部医药企业与产业园孵化器，促进生物医药创新发展。

在MIT就读期间，高璐曾任MIT房地产中心助教，MIT Sloan商学院助研。她一直热心公益，曾担任过MIT中国学生学者联合会（CSSA）主席、MIT加拿大Toronto校友会董事、MIT华人校友会（CAG）董事。十分期待在我们MIT上海校友会中继续为大家发光发热！

Meng Zhu / 祝萌, MIT Sloan Fellow MBA 2017

Ms. Zhu is a MIT Sloan Fellow, and Associate Director of Market Intelligence in Cell Signaling Technology. She focuses on the enterprise growth strategy in biopharma and AI industries. Also, Ms. Zhu has multi-year experience in Telecommunication, Consumer Electronics and Biotech industries. She has profound insights in big data and artificial intelligence. She graduated from Sloan School of Management in 2017 with MBA degree. She served as board of director of MIT Club of Shanghai during 2020 ~ 2021. In the coming new term, she wants to build an interactive platform for alumni in lifescience and healthcare industry. She also wants to serve more in the areas of female leadership and individual well-being in the coming year.

祝萌女士是麻省理工斯隆学者，目前就职于生命科学公司Cell Signaling Technology并负责中国区的市场洞察。她专注于生物科技与人工智能行业的企业成长战略。同时在电信，消费电子，生物科技行业拥有多年的经验，对大数据和人工智能技术有深刻洞察。她2017年毕业于麻省理工学院斯隆商学院，并获得工商管理硕士学位。2020~2021年期间，她曾经在MIT上海校友会担任board of director。在接下来的一年，她希望为校友在医药健康行业搭建沟通的平台，并持续在女性领导力，以及个体的身心健康领域为校友更多的服务。

邓灵知, Lingzhi Deng, Sloan Master of Finance 2016

Ms. Deng Lingzhi, current founder and CEO of Qiancan Brand Management, has a Master of Finance degree from MIT Master of Finance '16. Mr. Deng has worked for Hermes in the U.S. and China, and later served as the Vice General Manager of Heytea, and the Communication Head of Bota Bio. In nearly a decade of interdisciplinary brand management practice, she has accumulated a wealth of brand managment capabilities across the entire lifecycle of a business, from toB to toC, and from startups to centuries-old companies. In the coming year, she hopes to contribute to the branding of MIT Community, bringing more interdisciplinary and cross-cultural vitality.

邓灵知，千灿品牌管理创始人兼CEO。MIT Master of Finance’16金融硕士。先后就职于美国与中国爱马仕；后任喜茶品牌副总经理；Bota恩和生物品牌负责人。在近十年跨学科品牌管理实践中，积累了丰富的从toB到toC，从初创到百年企业的企业全生命周期的品牌建设能力。在未来的一年里，她希望能将MIT Community的品牌化建设中出一份力，带来更多跨学科跨文化的思想碰撞与年轻活力。
