欢迎各位英语教学同仁2024年7月30至8月1日前来北京美国中心，参加由地区英语项目办公室（Regional English Language Office）举办的英语学术论文写作与发表暑期训练营！我们荣幸地邀请到美国国务院英语语言专家、美国阿拉巴马大学荣休教授刘迪麟与大家一起探讨有关英语学术论文写作与发表以及提高英语教学效果和趣味的方法策略。本活动限30人，实名注册，额满即止。训练营免会务费，差旅需自理。请有学术论文发表需求的各位英语教师、教研人员及英语专业在校研究生于7月26日之前填写并提交需求调研问卷，我们将于7月29日前将确认函和具体活动安排发送到您的报名邮箱。

Trainer Bios:

Dilin Liu, Ph.D., is Professor Emeritus of Applied Linguistics/TESOL in the English Department at the University of Alabama, USA. His research focuses on the description, learning, and teaching of English grammar and vocabulary using cognitive- and corpus-linguistic approaches. He has published extensively with over 100 publications, including seven books and numerous journal articles/book chapters. His articles have appeared in over 20 different SSCI journals in linguistics/applied linguistics, such as Applied Linguistics, Cognitive Linguistics, ELT Journal, English for Specific Purposes, Foreign Language Annals, International Journal of Applied Linguistics, International Journal of Corpus Linguistics, International Journal of Lexicography, IRAL, Journal of English for Academic Purposes, Journal of English Linguistics, Journal of Pragmatics, Journal of Psycholinguistic Research, Language and Cognition, Language Teaching, Language Teaching Research, Modern Language Journal, Second Language Research, Studies in Second Language Acquisition, and TESOL Quarterly. He is on the 2023 world top 2% most highly cited scientists (authors) list in the field of linguistics. He has served or is serving on the editorial boards of over a dozen journals including ELT Journal, Journal of English for Academic Purposes, International Journal of Lexicography, Lingua, System, TESOL Quarterly, and TESOL Journal. He is currently co-editor of the Cell Press/Elsevier SCI journal Heliyon Education in charge of submissions on linguistics and applied linguistics (language teaching). A frequently invited speaker, Professor Liu has given many plenary/keynote and other invited speeches/lectures at conferences and universities in various countries and regions around the world, including Brazil, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, the U.S., and Vietnam.

This event is ONLY open to English teachers and researchers. The event will be conducted in English. Audio or video recording of the program will not be permitted.   

请务必携带本人身份证原件及报名确认函进入北京美国中心, 证件复印件或照片将不被允许进入。请勿携带大包及笔记本电脑前往。便携式电子设备如：手机、平板电脑和智能手表可以带入北京美国中心。请在使馆东门排队等候。 
You must bring both your valid photo ID and registration confirmation in order to get into the BAC. Copies or pictures of IDs will not be accepted. Large bags and laptops will not be allowed into BAC for this event. Portable electronic devices, such as mobile phones, iPads and other tablets, and smartwatches are allowed to bring into the BAC. Please wait in line at the East Gate of the Embassy.

Please arrive 20 minutes earlier ahead of the start time. You will NOT be admitted if you arrive half an hour after the program has started. If you cannot show up for the event, please cancel your reservation via email to [email protected] at least 24 hours ahead. Otherwise, for future events, we may cancel your reservations.
