Travel to the West (7): The Butchart Gardens
Butchart Gardens is located in Brentwood Bay, British Columbia, Canada, North of the city of Victoria on Vancouver Island.

P3: Ferry from Vancouver(Tsawwassen) to Victoria(Swartz Bay)

P5: Entrance to the Butchant Gardents

P8: Rub the nose of "Tacca"-the Butchart Boar
Purchased on a trip to Florence in 1973, It was cast in Florence by Ferdinando Marinelli Artistic Foundry, a replica of a 1620 bronze cast by Pietro Tacca. It is called "Tacca" in honor of the sculptor and, just as the original's, its snout is shiny from the many visitors rubbing it for luck.
P9: Rose Garden: It is too early to see rose blooming now. but I love those structures for supporting climbing plants
P10: Entry to the Japanese Garden: an authentic Torii gate. I like Japanese Garden most. I spent most of time here.

The Italian Garden was built from a tennis court for the family before.
At about 1pm, we exited from the gardens and had a picnic lunch near the parking lot. We brought some foods ( roasted duck, gruits and bread )from Vancouver. Then we headed to our next stop - the city of Victoria.
