小女孩的大问题

从(『新月女孩』 New Moon Girls 杂志)上看到的:
"Earlier this week, we asked New Moon Girls to send debate questions for the presidential candidates. We got a great response! Here's what you said:"
Senator McCain:
Do you not feel that the United Nations would be a more peaceful, productive way toward finding peace in Iraq?
Senator Obama:
I am a GIGANTIC supporter of you, you met my brother last year, though you probably don't remember, on Marthas Vineyard. Anyway,
What are your ideas on disabilities? I wrote a paper on your opinions about this issue, though I failed to find some of John McCain’s positions on this issue. What can we do to break down sexist, racist, and all other kinds of stereotypes?
- Maggie
I would like to ask Senator Obama if he is going to try to stop animal abuse. Also, my friend and I have been trying to talk to restaurants about going green, so I was wondering what he will do to fight global warming.
-Zoe, age 9
How are you going to ensure that young people in America can afford to go to college?
How are you going to fund healthcare for minors, especially young women?
How do you feel the No Child Left Behind Act should be altered or discontinued?
- Julia, 14
Dear Obama,
I was wondering if you are going to make getting into college cheaper so that more students can afford a good education and a good job?
- Grace, 11
Dear Sarah Palin,
Why would you take away the right for women to choose if they want to have a baby or not? What if the girl is 15 or 16, and knows that her baby would not be able to grow up in a good environment? It's her choice. If you get that choice, why don't we?
-Claire
Here's my question for Barack Obama and John McCain:
Some 20.3 million families in the United States have at least one member who is disabled in some way. Knowing this, what will you do to improve (specifically) special education and programs for the physically and mentally disabled?
-Madeleine
Dear Obama,
I am sooo supportive of your campaign and ideas on how you will run the country. I like the way, when speaking, you say "when I am president," not "if I am president." I would like to know more about your health-care ideas and workers rights ideas.
-Pearl, 12, Oregon
What are MCCAIN'S specific veiws on Iraq?
-Sofia
Dear Mr. Barack Obama,
I have a question, I have this friend, and her mom voting isn’t for you; she is voting for Mr. John McCain. She does not know what to do. ‘Cause she thinks Mr. McCain should get elected but she has never heard you speak before.HELP!!
- Taylor, 10
I go to public school, and each year we are forced to prep for the state tests. We learn almost nothing as our teachers teach to the test, but it seems that all our state cares about are the scores we get. What is your plan regarding standardized testing?
- Marisa, 12, New York
I am a 10 year old girl in Colorado. My parents are separated and I now have 4 moms! As President, will you see that lesbians and gays are able to get the same rights and benefits as heterosexual parents automatically get when they are married? There are over 1,000 rights given to couples who get married that my parents cannot get, even though they are in committed, long term relationships, just like being married.
- Olivia
Dear Mr. Obama,
Do you think global warming is an issue?
- Anna
