Hi guys, I'm a CISA working in a CPA firm in NYC. I'm happy to be your Certification Mentor http://www.isaca.org/Certification/Pages/CPE-for-Mentoring.aspx to help you pass the CISA exam. However, as a reminder, I'd like to let you know the following three points: (1) Earning the CISA designation does not necessarily mean a huge increase of salary. But it may be a good pass to enter the public accounting firm; (2) IT audit is a niche area and you may find the daily work is so boring after you have worked in this area for one year; (3) It may not be easy to transit from a public accounting firm to the corporation. You need to show the value that you can bring to the potential employer instead of the certification itself.
