Rattle in the first month, engine gives you cricket noise, interior sucks,
FRS doesn't have HID projector headlight unless you go for a "special
edition", no power under 5000 rpm - very limited power band, narrow tires...
not very practical in terms of backseat room, trunk is quite good but narrow
, you will fold down the backseat a lot. highway driving is not as stable as
you thought, it's light therefore you can feel the wind blowing you around.
..
these are the negatives.
Good stuff:Fun car to drive, if you don't give a damn about 170 hp WHP give
or take 10 hp depending on altitude. I personally was addicted to driving it
everyday on winding roads in Austin. you will absolute have to rev it to
red line if you want to feel the go. Cornering is the gold of this car, not
to say it is on rail like a 911 or GTR, but it floats, like you drive a go-
karts...keeping the momentum and maybe sometimes you'll slide - because the
tire doesn't grip so well. and that can work against you. that brings it to
safety... I wrecked mine a few months later on fm 2222, off camber turn
right after the end of elevation, car didn't grip well (I wanted to change
tires but too late...), car was totaled and got on fire later, but me and my
buddy got out right after crash. only time I crashed a car but I walked
away with no harm done to nothing. I have to say safety is good enough...for
a toyato, it was impressive.
