Dear all,
I need to culture some mammalian cells in Collagen I in hope of getting 3D,
and then I need to get the cells out of collagen I to get either mRNA or
protein.
I got some information from Sigma, but there is no way for us to know how to
use the collagenase to get rid of collagen I.
Is there anyone knows from which company I can get the right Collagen I and
Collagenase,please?

谢谢，请问之前的I797原件还有必要保留么。前雇主就给了我一个复印件，不知道值不
值得去折腾要个元件。

如果denature可以的话，加SDS后加热应该可以溶掉collagen，否则用collagenase了

Can you buy collagenase (I am not sure about subtype) and use as trypsin.
a few years ago I used collagen coated dish to culture cells, when I need to
harvest cell, I used a mixture of collagenase and trypsin.
you might need to optimize the system.
