是不是就表示这个collection从我信用记录里remove掉了？信用分会马上update么？

不知道该等多久。听一个朋友的，生物物理方向，70－80％至少回信，没钱一般第二天
就讲了。
我投了十来个，一个礼拜的，一个回信的都没有！怎么回事啊。我有还可以的一作
paper, 但方向转了一点。

别你找的PI almost belong to whom hate Chinese or Eastern/Southern Asian PD吧
记住看其的过去五年的论文作者里边有无 Eastern/Southern Asian PD的名字出现
是在一作位置还是一作兼corresponding author 位置当然 Boss 可以是co-
corresponding author
若根本没有你就象爱因斯坦那样找纳粹的海德堡实验室的 PD position 也不可能收
到人家的任何回信。

博后申请，特别是跨专业第一封信一定要写的有针对性，说明你现在的知识/技术能给
这个实验室带来什么好处。你要是就一个通用的申请模板，抬头Dear Sir/Madam,没人
回信很正常。

谢谢，这建议很有用。我倒是针对写的，但是强调的是兴趣，然后大概说了我做的东西。

你要直接找好实验室投就是这样的，尤其是转方向的， 10个里面也就
一两个回信。如果你找打广告的实验室，那么基本上都会回信。
我有一个trick, 就是一次发出10个实验室，然后第二天马上让
你自己的老板把推荐信email过去，这样基本上多半都会回信，就算
没戏也会吱一声

LZ 背景的打广告找博后的网页links LZ database里没有8-10个的话谈何广种薄收?
R01中签率年年降一个百分点的 2009以后
if not 要不cardamom (悟空) 公开下你的专业比如若说是生物物理的是偏理论还是偏实验方面多点啥的
这里的人多, 说不定可以助你一臂之力...

It is quite normal. Share my experience with you.
Two years ago, I applied 10 labs and only 3 lab replied in a week. I send
email again to the 7 non-replied one and ask whether they have received my
email and whether they have any interest on me. Another 3 replied.
Among the rest four lab, one PI emailed half a year later and said he was in
sabbatical and asked whether I am still interested in his lab. Three of
them still no reply till today.
Among the six replied one, only three asked for reference and interview and
another three said no position or no money. Get two offer from interviewed
lab and go one of them for postdoc till today.
Applying postdoc needs patience, persistence (email again and again), and
preparation (especially for the presentation part).

interviews, finally I only got 2 very bad offers and chose 1.
80 bosses didn't responsed to me that time.

from you sent almost ten times letters than normal applicant and still no
give up.

还有个问题。一般PI会先电话面试吗？还是直接要推荐信再决定？

No for your hoped major field: immunity
almost interview request is according to short list and that short list is
according to RecomLetter (two or three, to four)
from qualified applicants could over 100 or more just for one position.
Only purified mathematic/statistic biology/ecology/ some PI might 先电话面
试 then 要推荐信
from qualified applicants below 30 or less.

的确是人太多了，好几年前就这种状况，以后这个行当不知道会变态到什么程度。
不过美国产的博士申请还是要好些。

我经常收到postdoc application, 大部分是来自国内的。一般都是在手机上扫一眼就
直接ignore了。没办法一一回复，实在太多了，而且手机上也不方便回复。
