我被关过好几张信用卡，有的是store credit card，有的是银行发的信用卡，什么通
知都没有。我还是查信用报告的时候才知道被关卡的，还给注明是at customer's
request。。。我觉得是因为这几年经济不好，银行为了降低风险，减少成本，就偷偷
摸摸的把一些不active的用户给咔嚓掉了。

banks close ur cards because a non-active card introduces maintenance cost
while brings no revenue.
there is no written policy about how long is the maximum non-active period;
this is similar as applying for a new credit card. Is there a solid rule
about how much credit score is needed for a certain card? Everything is up
to the bankers' decision.

I did not use it for a year.
Then USBank decides to impose an annual fee on my account, instead of
closing my card. So I was lucky to be able to close my account before they
close it.
