这个老板phd学校和现在的学校都很一般（比利时），当然postdoc跟了大牛ELiane
Fuchs。
2006年左右才独立，独立后实验室的文章太太惊人了！！
2008年 Cell Stem cell; JCB
2010年 2X nat cell biology
2011年开始疯狂灌水
2x Nature, cell stem cell, PNAS, JCB
2012 疯狂势头不减。
2X nature, NCB, EMBO J...
这还不算在各种nature review, cell review， CSHL 上的review 十几篇。。。
我至少是没见过这么牛的junior PI，Fuchs手下老板出了10几个，也没见到有这么猛的。
这哪里是才成立实验室不到6年的新PI啊，ELiane Fuchs本尊实验室产出也就差不多这
吧。。。
而且你还要考虑到他由于学校没有名气，手下博后博士的质量是完全无法跟Fuchs的手
下比拼的。。。
我翻过几篇他的文章，结论都很牛B吓人，比如
首先找到了确切的solid tumor的cancer stem cell证据，
比如找到了前列腺癌的干细胞，
找到了鳞状细胞癌的干细胞等等。。。。
有没有内行人指点指点，在行内这个人声誉怎么样？ 他文章可信度高么？ 是真的牛还
是第二个舍恩？（德国著名的超级造假哥）

这个人数现在看上去当然超级多，但是仔细看有10个是technian.
另外博后有一半是近1年内加入的，
所以我上面说得那些文章应该是不到15个人的实验室做出来的，anyway。
我比较好奇有没有人做这个领域来讲讲他那几篇大文章在领域里的影响力怎么样。。

确实是超新星。略看过他的一些文章，lineage tracing玩得很好啊，而且还会
modelling。不过结论是挺震撼的，如体内证实cancer stem cell，如不存在
multipotent mammary stem cells.

stem cells exist (in those animal models) and maintain the tumor mass. If
this is true for certain human cancer, it will explain why nearly all
current anti-cancer therapies cannot cure cancer, and a drug that
selectively targets CSC while sparing normal adult stem cells might be a
real bullet.

cancer stem cells 多年前就有人搞了,5年前我搞这个的时候,查文献,发现铺天盖地的
文章,大部分都是1,2分影响因子.怎么过几年,大牛实验室里博士后搞一下就成了CNS了,
还第一个发现的. 我倒,学术界就是大鱼吃小鱼. 平常人搞得再好,没人理睬. 牛人一搞
,就是第一发现,突破性进展.
搞学术的,也要学会包装了.不包装就只能给别人当铺路石子了.

不是低一个发现，是找就发现了。不过他和另外两人（两个独立的实验室），用最直接
的证据证明肿瘤干细胞是存在的。以前也有很多很“直接”的证据。
