Hi all,
I am working with university A and get a new offer from university B. My
h1b with A ends on July 14 2011 and my new appointment starts at Sep 1,
2011. University B says the new H1B will be valid exactly on Sep 1. How
about this 1.5 months gap? Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

u系列看主频非常低，是不是性能也很差？

求推荐好的书，比如大学或研究生时的经典教材，谢谢！

新的h1b批准以后，回国，8月底再签出来应该可以。

对于90%以上的普通消费者，U系列的足够了。大多数时候，一个低电压i5 + ssd的体验
比4核35w i7 + hdd的体验要好。
连现在很多轻薄游戏本都上U系列cpu了。

For some reason, I cannot go back to China in these months. Any other

除了i3这些低电压cpu根本就不差，要看那个boost speed做比较。真正有load的时候差
不多可以保持那个速度
可以理解成u系列的cpu更加aggressive的在降频

Get a H1-B extension from your current employer, then you will be fine.

Email international program office of university B and ask them what you can
do. Perhaps, you can get a J visa and ask for waiver immediately,but you
cannot get a J visa any more.
