终于可以申请绿卡了，填表有些问题请大家指教(考过古但没找到确切答案）：
1. Birth certificate是不是出生公证就可以了？还是好多年以前办的，就是中英
对照然后说翻译符合那种。
2. Middle name: 是填none, n/a, 还是空着？
3. 如果空格不够，时不时可以直接填china或者 p.r. china, 不用写people’s
republic of china？h-1b申请的时候immigration曾经搞错，把我的国籍写成Taiwan，
因为办事人员只写china。
4. 所有空格都要填吗？跟自己无关的空格（interpreter, person that prepared
…)是不是可以空着，还是全填n/a？我是自己准备材料的。
5. Nonimmigrant visa number是control number还是C打头的红色号码？
6. 485里的professional association的加入日期，如果不记得具体日期是不是可
以随便填？
7. I-765的表有些奇怪，就是某些日期（date of birth）pdf 打出来跟上面的字重
合。可以用手写吗？
8. I-131的part 3有行字说”if you are applying for an advance parole
document, skip to part 7”。难道我就不填part 3的4，5 还有part 4 了？
9. 多页的表格是staple还是用paper clip?
10。表格签名一定用蓝色笔吗？表格instruction说用黑色print，但是据说用蓝笔可以
确定是original。

你没律师？
1. yes.
2. both ok.
3. China or PR China.
4. Blank is ok.
7. should be ok.
8. Yes
9. Paper clip
10. Black Black.
All based my I-485 filled by our company lawyer who handled many I-485.

I left it 空着 to avoid getting a middle name - none.
3. 如果空格不够，时不时可以直接填china或者 p.r. china, 不用写people’s
republic of china？h-1b申请的时候immigration曾经搞错，把我的国籍写成Taiwan，
因为办事人员只写china。

可以. but I chose the "字重合"

Thank you! No, I am doing it myself and the advice from the office people (
who handled my 140 but don't do 485) was confusing :-) I appreciate your
sharing the info!

Thank you for the info! One more question: you said "never staple", but in
the 485 instruction, it says "staple the check to the form" -- is paper clip
better?

I used two clips to attach check to the left upper side of 485 form. Using
staple way risk tear the form 485 when they try to remove the check.

staples 肯定不能用，但clips有必要吗？
不都要取下来扫描吗？

BTW, where did you get the small resealable plastic bags (4"x6", for example
) to hold the photos? I've tried Office Max, grocery stores, UPS, and FedEx,
but none of them carries this type of bags!! Can I used envelopes instead?

I used normal envelop. USCIS will put photos in transparent bag.

Thanks, noles! I finally found zipper bags at Michael's (you would think
that something so common would be easily available, but it ain't so!)
To the other person that asked about paper clips -- I think it's necessary
to organize the files and paper clips are the least invasive way to go.
