1 PhD position with starting date in mid August 2018 is available in the
Multiscale Modeling of Materials (M3) group at the department of Mechanical
Engineering (ME) at San Diego State University (SDSU), California, USA,

Special emphasis is placed on recruiting talented, self-motivated candidates
with a solid background in physics, condensed matter, materials science, or
mechanical engineering. Experience in using Linux/Unix environment and

Molecular Dynamics, Finite Element Method, Monte Carlo, Mesoscale Modeling,
and so on) is desired.
The goal of this project is to develop computational methods to model the
mechanical properties and apply them to understand the mechanisms of
deformation behavior in nanostructured materials. This will involve state-of
-the-art atomistic modeling method (molecular dynamics) to describe
dislocation interactions with grain boundaries and interfaces at the atomic
and nanoscale. Moreover, multiscale modeling with the coupling of atomistic
description and continuum finite elements (finite element method) will be
developed to understand dislocation motion at the microscale. Finally, the
multiscale mechanisms of dislocation activities on the mechanical properties
will be systematically investigated and quantified. This project will also
involve extensive collaborations with experimental groups within the ME
department at SDSU.

愿意为它多出10%的价格在它这里住下吗？我开始了深思，其实绿色环保的理念非常正
确，政府也是大力提倡的，我们常常听到一些新闻媒体关于企业小区引入新能源的好消
息，这的确是个好现象。但是对于今天这个口语话题来说，我觉得，新能源的普及本应
当是理所应该的，人人都必须遵守的，但是对于适应新的生活方式我们参与者是不该既
出力又出钱的。也就是说，这既然是一种人人都接受的常态，就不应该没有任何附加成

这不够。最好把ucla 和 ucsd 关了，房拆了，地卖了。俩校都在寸土寸金的地方，卖
