1月3号拿到绿卡，总算是毕业了。副卡现在还在being produced,应该下礼拜可以收到。
I-485 RD 12/16/2016 at NSC，去年11月份想做个SR，结果系统说我的案子还在正常处
理时间内，等了两礼拜也没消息。然后朋友推荐了一个本地的congressman,发信后第二
天就有回应，然后再过两天刷状态就是RFE寄出来了，之前一直是ffwr。再过几天收到
RFE，补了个体检，把东西寄出去第二天的状态就是RFE的材料已经收到，然后再过一个
星期就是new card is being produced,两天后就是card was mailed to me,再过三个
工作日就收到了。
Timeline：
12/16/2016 485 RD
11/24/2017 写信找议员
11/29/2017 RFE寄出
12/5/2017 收到RFE 主副体检
12/19/2017 寄出RRFE，第二天收到
12/27/2017 New card is being produced
12/29/2017 Card was mailed to me
1/3/2018 收到主卡，副卡状态也变成New card is being produced

楼主有给congressman的信的模版吗？我从网上查的是可以去congressman的办公室。从
楼主这里知道还可以给congressman写信，实在是太好了。我们这里离着最近的
congressman的办公室也得开车两个小时。多谢了！

Dear XXXX,
I am writing to request your kind assistance in our Permanent Residency (I-
485) applications with the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
My name is XX, and I am currently a XXXX at the University of XXXX.
As a brief introduction of our cases, I filed my immigrant petition in the
category of an Alien of Extraordinary Ability under section 203(b)(1)(A) of
the Immigration and Nationality Act for Alien Worker” (I-140) on November
10, 2016, which was approved on November 17, 2016. Then, I filed “
Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status” (I-485) for
my wife and me on December 14, 2016. We have also had our biometrics taken
on February 15, 2017. However, the whole process has been almost one year
and we have not received any updated information from USCIS.
Now I am actively participating in several research projects that involve
collaborations with other universities and companies, such as University of
XXXX and XXXX, Inc, respectively. My expertise is of immense value to the US
scientific community. However, the delayed green card processing is
severely affecting my current working procedures such as applying for some
federal funding.
We are herein asking you for the help with requesting our current case
status at USCIS Nebraska Service Center, and have the immigration officers
explain what is exactly slowing down our cases if applicable.

RFE后直接批的。我的RD是16年12月，应该不在面试时间内。

具体我也不是很了解，但是大概听说是2017年3月以后的RD需要面试，之前的不用。你
再考考古吧。
