of the Getaround Connect – an in-car device designed to securely control

You’ll be part of a team developing our Connected Car technology platform

What You'll be Doing
Lead a team of embedded firmware engineers developing Connected Car
technology
Working with Product Managers to define features to unlock sensor and
diagnostic information from cars.
Solve real-world problems which combine smartphone technology, automotive
tech and wireless networking
Work with hardware engineers to develop custom embedded platforms (ARM)
using embedded Linux
Work with a variety of wireless technologies including 3G/LTE cellular, Wifi
, Bluetooth LE, GPS/GLONASS
Work with standard communication protocols: I2C, UART, SPI, Ethernet
Requirements
Must have 6+ years experience in developing embedded systems
Must have technical team lead or management experience
Strong C programming in an embedded Linux environment
Experience with GNU Toolchain using the C standard library
Experience with BSP and bootloaders
Linux network programming (socket programming, TCP/IP)
Experience with cross-compiling and automated build systems
Ability to ship consumer products quickly with high quality standards
Experience with board bring-up and troubleshooting with debuggers and
electronic test equipment (scopes and meters)
Experience with revision control and good document process
Additional Awesomeness
Hardware design experience including troubleshooting
Experience with agile development
Experience with telematics and GPS systems
Experience with security and encryption
Experience with Python, Backend Server development
Automotive electronics experience
Git and distributed revision control experience
Contribution to commercial or open-source projects
