Most empolyment relationship in US is employment-at-will, meaning exactly what
is written in your offer letter, even permanent employment may be viewed as
at-will employment. Some say it protects US economy. For example, after the
tech bubble, many companies avoid bankruptcy by simply laying off a bunch of

Yes. This is for exam:)
There are many interesting points about long-term relationship in our
contracts textbook of which I failed to remember the substance since they are
diffuse and not as easily summarized as those "rules". I only remember that it
resonated me. It is a lot of reading, I feel like a bear picking up corns, an
