关于租房:
三个月前，我们预定了一个房子。我们当时签了一个rental agreement，但是上面没有写
什么时候搬入搬出，也没有写价钱（只有一个range）。我们记得当时landord只是说'预
定',以防到我们租房的时候special结束了。我们还交了150的deposit。
后来我们找了其他的房子，就去rental office打算要回deposit。结果landlord告诉我们
不但deposit要不会来，还要罚我们三个月的房租。原因是rental agreement上有我们的
签名。我们和她理论，她指着rental agreement说既然是你们的签名，你们就有责任。
这件事搞得我们很恶心，今天好好看了一下我们签的东西，觉得有以下疑点：
1. 没有lease明确的开始日期
2. 没有具体说是哪间房
3. 合同上根本没有提3个月罚款的问题,只是她跟我们说的
哪位是学法律的,可不可以帮我们分析一下这件事.我觉得像这样很多条款不明确的合同不
应该是合法的.要真是这样,我们就不必care了.我们刚开始时有点被她说蒙了,现在觉得是
美国人在欺负人.

1.if there is no time limit for the performance of the contract, courts will
deem that the contract will be performed in a reasonable time. So absence of a
time limit will not make the leasing contract unenforceable.
2.a contract needs not to be complete. some terms can be agreed on in a later
time as long as the essential terms are included in the contract. in your
contract, the specific room to be leased to you may not be so essential that
courts will deem it as a essential term and must be in
