Well, I took LSAT this Feb and got 177. But due to some personal reasons,
I would not be able to attend full time law school till next year or even
two years later. I wonder if I should attend a local part-time JD program
which ranks at about 60-70. I am very confident that I will do pretty well
in those courses. Will it be helpful for my later application to a top ten
law school if I study in this part-time JD program for two semesters?
Or it might be detrimental? Thanks for any advice!

Really admire!!!!! How can you get that level? I am wondering whether you can
share your experience with us. I once registered this exam, but I never hit
165.........,and had to postpone and canceled this exma finally. :(((
There are some articles in this board discussing what you are concerned. Some
guys said that you will carry few financial risks if you go for a part-time
J.D.but you will lose of some benefits that only full-time students can enjoy,
such as associations. or something like tha

yah.. I fully understand the benefits to be a full-time law student.
Thus I would study at most two semesters in the part time program
if I decided to. What puzzles me is that if it will help my
application for a good full time program or it would even hinder
my application.
Well, I have been always a good student and excellent in achieving
good scores :P. I didnot spend much time preparing it. But I did
finish the latest 20 or more prep tests from LSAC, which I would
say to be crucial if you wa

don't waste your time and money on some part-time JD program if your ultimate
goal is a full time one. law schools don't appreciate previous legal
education, not to mention from a lower ranked one.
Your LSAT score pretty much guarantees any top school admission other than the
top 3. Wait for your green card (I assume that's the reason holding you up)
and apply once and get it done right.
that college writing course probably won't help you much. Given you don't have
problem w/ basic grammer and v
