我门2006年才搬到加州,搬了一次家现在TIME-WARNER要我们退搬家前电视BOX 200$,并
把它卖给了讨债公司.问题是,我们根本没有过它的电视BOX,电视是LANDLORD提供的,而
且它的帐户是1998年的,根本牛头不对马嘴.给讨债公司打电话,说不关他们的事,让我们
去找TIME-WARNER.给TIME-WARNER打了N多次电话,说要调查,从此再没有下文.讨债公司
几乎每天打电话骚扰,烦恼ING.大家帮我出出注意, 能不能去告他们,或者有什么办法解
决,听说讨债公司伤CREDIT.谢谢先!

For sure, you have a good case to sue the debt collector if what you said is
correct. Just find a good consumer transaction attorney who experts in
Federal Debt Collection Act (FDCA) or your state debt collection law.
Under FDCA, you may be rewarded the attorney fee and $1000 if you win the
case. I bet the attorney will take your case on contigent fee arrangement
which means the attorney will not get paid if not winning the case.

Under Federal law (FDCA), you may not sue TW; but you can sue the debt
collector. Under your state law, maybe you can sue the TW at the same time
of suing the collector.
By the way, I am not a lawyer and you should not rely on my opinion. Check a
local lawyer if you treat it seriously.
