我是在学校工作的了，但是闲着难受，想继续学点东西。以前学商的。学校规定员工每
学期可以免费上一门课。就打上accounting的主意了。谁知道accounting系的老师不要
太拽啊，首先是每一门课都有Preq，你推下去就是要从2字头的课上起。还有很多课写
着只给accounting专业的学生上，有的还专门写不对business开放。我不死心，挑了一
门4开头的审计课，给任课老师写信问能不能上，结果答复特别rude，说没上过6门以上

我老婆刚从你们学校（如果没猜错的话）fulltime program 毕业，我从她那里间接了
解到的情况来看，觉得要图个挣钱，还是MBA最合适。不用拼成绩（学校根本就不让把
成绩放在简历上给雇主看），没有太多的无聊必修课，比JD少读一年，学生群体也更国
际化眼界更开阔一些，虽然在金融业起薪相对低一点工作相对不稳定一些，但是工资涨
得更快而且bonus在好的年景要多很多。看你主要从挣钱考虑，所以如果不是靠芝大/西
北MBA实在找不到工作的话，就不要去念IIT的JD（尤其是part time JD!）。那样投入
太大，金钱上的回报并不比MBA高，而且在已经有个GSB或者Kellogg的MBA的情况下，这
个Kent的JD的边际收益就更低了。
LSAT能考175+的人都非常聪明，我相信你也不例外，也相信你如果念法学院成绩一定很
优秀。但是即使像你这么优秀的人，在IIT拿前5%也是有一定

主帖挂了那么久,突然删了,其实还是因为别的原因.
我上LAWSCHOOL的时候年纪不小了,上学以前犹豫过一段时间,担心花了钱和时间以后
没有结果. 上学的时候是我妻子挣钱养家,包括两个孩子和交学费.
上学以后,LOOKING BACK,我觉得实在应该早些上.
另外以前我也为绿卡等过很多年.
看到那位同学有类似的CONCERN,一时想SHARE一下自己的经验教训,以为对他有用.
可能没有考虑到有的人更SENSITIVE一些, 但至少没有任何NEGATIVE的内容吧.
(而且,既然是来SEEK ADVICE的,在很多别人花时间回复以后就这么一删了之,似乎也未必合适哈.)
也许是因为我遇到的网友都是象LITTLENORTH一样脸皮厚的,被OUT了还上BBS. :)
或者说学LAW的人注重NET,愿意多联系.
我最早申请的时候就是看见一个本版的一个ID(已经很久不来了)发帖说她被那所学校录取了,
然后我发信去,约她一起吃饭,她给了我很多帮助. PATENT BAR的事情请教的是另一位本版ID.

if you use the telnet mode, all the follow-up posts should be still there.
they are not really "deleted," but just don't show up in the WWW mode.

Why do people use telnet for mitbbs anyway? I never got on the telnet wagon
I can also use "article mode" when using http, so there's no benefit to
using telnet in this aspect.

all I'm saying is that the person who deleted his/her original post should
probably not be held responsible for "deleting" the whole thread. The
disappearance of the thread after the topmost post is deleted is a
deficiency in the web application used by MITBBS.

much easier to read and reply and search, and much more.
Basically this bbs started and was designed to work with a telnet terminal,
and you will miss a lot simply going under web mode.

Basically this bbs started and was designed to work with a telnet terminal,
