u don't wear same kinds for all ceremonies do u?
肯定至少穿business casual，想问是不是必须正统面试装，如果不是就可以穿自己喜
欢的，不喜欢面试装太boring

if you want to be "normal", wear formal suit.
If you want to be "outstanding", wear whatever you want.

现在半导体就业就是a table full of tea cups啊
我在cs 和ee非半导体方向的同学都claim说(至少人家敢claim)fresh工作太好找了

but apparently semiconductor is the wet-bio in whole engineering branch...
every fresh in other areas can look down at it.

非常同意。我现在实习的组有三个openning，要求mixed signal design五年以上工作
经验，老板说平均三四个礼拜可以收到一份满意的简历。但是就是不招fresh graduate。

我要是老板，我也不会找fresh
找个5年的，钱比fresh顶多多30%，但是可靠，出货快，少操心
fresh往往工作态度一般，需要很多时间培训，不能独立上手

那是你没遇见过好的fresh;同样，5年经验的也可能是个忽悠。
hiring manager也不傻，他找个人来干什么他心里有数。

现在就业市场完全是在消化以前泡沫时代制造的很多有5年工作经验的人。
现在很难想象3年前一个fresh Master就可以在一个startup公司找到RFIC的工作。
2008年底以后，公司倾向于把不能很快上手的新人layoff掉，转而从市场上搜罗
有5年经验的人。
