爸爸从国内过来看我们，一个月前发现有早搏现象（心脏跳几下停一下），几天后缓解
恢复了，但是昨天晚上又出现了比较严重的早搏，持续大约6-7小时。爸爸以前没有过
心脏病，心脏也没有感觉过不舒服，在国内体检心脏彩超没什么问题（2006年做的），
他血脂血压都不高，甚至有些指标还偏低。我们想让他去美国的诊所检查一下，因为他
没有医疗保险，不知道在这里做一些检查（比如心脏彩超、造影之类）的需要多少钱。
请各位高人指教，在这里先拜谢啦！

请问，如果公司的invitation上面明确说了要business casual的话，穿suit去好不好
呢？第一次去office tour，不知道大家一般都是怎么穿，又怕按照business casual穿
，结果别人都很正式，显得自己不重视了。

lz相当的茫然,所以想向各位牛人请教一下
是海投简历呢还是看到某个firm贴出来tech specialist的opening,才有针对性的投呢?
我刚刚开始找,发现小firm网站都没有opening列出来, 大的firm列出的多数也是找
attorney
几天下来,没找到一个opening,很沮丧
麻烦过来人指点一二吧, 万分感谢了!

How about get him to a doctor ($200 for family physician, $400 for urgent
care) first, & have them run a basic EKG ($100)?
If it looks okay, you may not need to pursue the more expensive tests.

如果说business casual，穿suit就死板了，可以穿经典款式，稍亮一点的颜色。

your field is extremely important, there are plenty openings in EE CS, but
hardly any in Chem Bio.

premature contraction is common and noncritical, as long as it occurs not
too often (less than 5 per min) and single origin.
For premature contraction, ECHO is of no use, neither is angiogram (suppose
there is no angina), what regular EKG can tell is limited, but can rule out
something. Holter is what your father need for the premature contraction.

我可以跟EE,CS 沾边. 不过是tech specialist的opening都找不到,不论专业...
严重觉得我自己的找opening的方法有问题

我们正准备约一个医生先去看看，不过我们担心普通的心电图检查不出问题来。
