四年一晃就这么过去了, 虽然最初的疯迷和崇拜已经慢慢的消退,
而且之后我又见识了许多广阔世界中的非凡人物, 但是每年的这
个时候我都会想起这么一个人.
因为这个人的确对我曾经产生过很大影响,影响并不在于思想的
深度或者广度,而在于诱惑和引导. 就好象一直在低着头走路,
忽然这么个人走过来告诉你其实可以看看天, 然后抬起头来---

红拂夜奔欧第一次看的时候也有点头晕，可是看第2遍时就开始惊叹
他的想象力。
有趣是他写作的生命所在。在这一点上他有时很象一个精力旺盛的孩
子，看见有趣的东西，就像要试一试。有时他是一个有顽皮的赤子之
心的人。
他的作品欧都喜欢。喜欢里头无穷无尽的想象力，喜欢他自由驰骋的
心灵，还有睿智和幽默。。。。。。。
不过最喜欢的还是青铜时代明亮的感觉。

I like his later works, esp. wan4shou4si4 better than the
early ones, not that the early ones are less good, but that
they are lined with a restlessness and tumultuousness which
have been distilled into a poeticised and accommodating
resourcefulness and adaptibility at the various indignities
of life.Wang Xiaobo in Wangshousi is a graceful witty
connaisseur of life rather than a sharp-tongued eroitc
gadfly in the earlier works, which remains youthfully
refreshing.

I like the age of bronze, maybe it is just love at first
sight. I still remember the guy who uses mathematics to test
if he is insane. Usually, it works. But one day, he tries to
calculate the square root of 2 and he writes from floor to
ceiling. When I first read it, I just laughed- what a stupid
man. But now I would say-what a lucky man, at least he has
his own criteria and what a sad man-his criteria is so
uncertain.
