"Nature" is what we see -
The Hill - the Afternoon-
Squirrel- Eclipse - the Bumble bee -
Nay - Nature is Heaven -
Nature is what we hear -
The Bobolink - the Sea -
Thunder - the Cricket-
Nay - Nature is Harmony -
Nature is what we know -
Yet have no art to say -
So impotent Our Wisdom is
To her Simplicity

一直以来对艾米丽和她的诗有着很大的兴趣。现在有时间可以认真研究一下了。
她的诗都很简洁，是我喜欢的类型。她写诗完全为自己写的，就连她的父亲都不知
道她写的诗。她一直深居简出，终身未嫁，和朋友之间都是通过书信往来。有些人说她
生不逢时，但是也有很多人不喜欢她。
在她过世之后，她的诗才被发表。却是声名大作，几乎与同年代的惠特曼齐名。
