总算看清楚了。先说rumba, 目前只看了hanna。
around 1:40 into the clip, i see karina's routine
around 3:36 into the clip, i see hanna and killick's routine
around 4:12 into the clip, i see elena's routine
这是最明显的几处。看完后，感觉心情很复杂，呵呵。你们看了说说感受吧。

我第一次得上抑郁症，是大学期间跟一个抑郁的姑娘长期性交之后。当然这个第一次的
说法也许不科学：虽然我自己认为得过许多次抑郁症而且每次时间都很短，但是我的医
生坚持我其实只是慢性抑郁症从来都没有治愈而已。但是那是我抑郁症的开始，这个想
法也得到了我医生的确认。
那个姑娘的抑郁，也是在我们性交几次之后我才发现的。她跟我不在一个学校，但是离
得也不算远，骑车不用出汗就能到。她比我小一级，酷爱跳舞。上床之前的故作姿态跟
急不可耐我就不说了，这个不是本文的重点，我认为跟她的或者我的抑郁症关系也不大
。开始几次性交都很完整也很标准，开胃菜跟甜点齐备，我们既充满激情又非常认真。
她的专业是某种北欧语言。她常说，她这种专业，毕了业不是去外交界就是去当老师。
我笑她说她的外貌当外交官活泼有余不够严肃，当老师又容易让学生走神儿。多年

There are interesting details. #4 is about slavik and karina.
i love slavik and karina so much, sigh...

By watching the video, I feel that Hanna is a dancer of the last "generation
." Dancesport, as a "sport" nowadays, requires more athleticism. Hanna's
athleticism, (power,) and leg strength are not in the same league as the
current (several) top female Latin dancers. Maybe spending time to do the
south american showdance with her husband made things worse.

这就是我心情复杂的原因。我不愿意这样认为，但是又忍不住这样认为，心里很矛
盾。
这之前，看到有一个人在youtube上说‘i am afraid she is losing her speed.' 这
句话象针扎了我一下。现在看到清晰的clips。在samba里面我都看到她明显出错,或者
说不够灵活的地方，这样说吧，她有些时候，很不明显地(not detectable for most
people)，似乎跟不上slavik, 特别是快一点的dance。
我希望这只是暂时的状态，通过一年warmup，她能够恢复到很好的状态。

Karina 跟这些non-top dancers们,什么cheryl, kim, edita, who are never in her
league (of course i have nothing against these dancers), 在一起做tv show, 争
idot audience/judge的宠, 加上这些莫名其妙的gossip, 我真是心痛啊。

maybe you heard some negative gossips? I don't see that in his partnership
with karina (or even leunis). i entered into the scene much later than you
gals. in the summer of 2006, they already split, before i set my eyes on
latin dancing. I don't hear gossips, which may have allowed me simply '
objectively' watch his dancing. and i've got impressed.
by the way, what is people's general comment on karen hardy? i have no idea
about her dancing but followed the blog and saw her jive with watson - i

看腻了。
my eyes are very picky. if i can watch something repeatedly for a long time
and don't get bored, that something is really something - i use this to test
which dancing couple i like most.

从那个blog里受启发，发现joanna leunis的samba的确和chacha差不多。
top level的dances 可以任意explore rhythm and beats and figures. 她的samba选
择的figures大多属于非典型figures (这是我的造词，定义为可以通用于几种latin
dances的figures); 这些figures也似乎出现在她的或其他dancers的chacha里。比如，
she is well known for her fast spins. she uses the spins in her samba,
instead of, say, three step turns， which have the typical one-ah-two samba
rhythm. 较少的典型samba figures 和较少的典型samba rhythm, 加上her execution
of typical samba figures is not impressive (sometimes poor)，导致her sa

i bought the ticket the first day the online ticket link got available.
i am not sure how long an amateur like me can keep dancing (thinking like
this is sad, i know)...i am not sure if slavik and hanna will come again...i
am not sure if i will still be dancing when they do come next time...so i
bought a 1st row ticket as a gift for myself, as "myself" is soaked in the
joy of dancing at the moment. and if i remember it correctly, my birthday
falls around that time :)

想当年，Slavik and Joanna这对金童玉女在20个月内从完全默默无闻一步步攀上了
amateur Latin champions　(Blackpool, World, etc.)。震惊世界舞坛。成为多少人
心目中的Heros！后来当听到他们分手的消息，许多人都不敢相信。也有不少人哭了。

我当然没办法用什么“万人空巷”之类的形容词来描写那个轰动的场面。但当他们一步
步（每次比赛都比上一次的排名往前推进几名）地在国际大赛中冒出头来的时候，很多
人都在谈论他们的成功故事。每次大赛（IDSF,Blackpool,World,etc.)大家都紧紧地盯
着他们俩，为他们喝彩。我知道他们俩的时候有点晚--他们已经拿到了一、两个世界级
别的冠军了。
记得我的一位来自乌克兰（Slavik来自乌克兰）的跳舞的朋友在电话中眉飞色舞地谈论
他的同胞如何成功。我当时连这个名字都没听说过。不过过了几天，轮到我得意洋洋地
在电话里向他宣称：“我见过他们俩了，而且是在非常近的距离（同一个studio内）看
着他们俩上一位老师的课的。。。”令他大吃一惊。
故事是这样的：那天下午我和舞伴在练舞。当时那个studio里面空空荡荡的，没什么人
。因为当天在我们那个地方有一个比赛，人大概都跑到赛场去了。我们没有去，因为那
不是collegiate的比赛。然后就来了三个人，一个胖胖的老师和一对学生，开始上课。
我们早就习惯旁边有人上课的情形，一点也没在意。过了一小会儿，我们停下来喝水休
息，同时看看那边上课的人

你的故事使我想起第一次遇到SLAVIK。那晚是LATIN SHOWDANCE，SLAVIK，MICHAEL
WINTINK,BRYAN WASTON 都在名单上.那时偶从老师那只知道 MICHAEL WINTINK、BEATA
是高手，对SLAVIK和BRYAN一概不知，看到一个高手在热身，偶提着相机，情不自禁地
走上前，问他是不是michael wintink, 他说不是，手指着另一对选手说他才是michael
，我与michael和beata合了影，后来才知道这个英俊小生是slavik，他的舞姿潇洒，可
惜没有和他合影，不然与slavik、karina的合影留到现在也是挺有意义的。

wow, my ears are really enjoying hearing the story...
i just checked their results and it is true that they had very fast
advancement. it must have been very breath taking to witness them advance...
