Then after Hannah has prophesied in these words, that he who
glorieth ought to glory not in himself at all, but in the
Lord, she i says, on account of the retribution
which is to come on the day of judgment, "The Lord hath
ascended into the heavens, and hath thundered: He shall
judge the ends of the earth, for He is righteous."
Throughout she holds to the order of the creed of
Christians: For the Lord Christ has ascended into heaven,
and is to come thence to judge the quick and
