我是全职妈妈12月file了485，基于以前的NIW的。如果是绿卡批了的意思，我发大包子
给大家。如果这信息与批或没批无关，请大家祝福，一样有包子。
On February 7, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this
customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on
the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days
following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing
referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before
receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-
5283.
During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the
decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You
can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive
a final decision.

房子CLOSE了快一个月了，也没受到ESCROW的信或其他文件，什么时候要开始交MONTHLY
MORTGAGE，怎么交都不知道。一般大家都是什么时候开始交的呀？怕误了DEADLINE。
还有property tax 和 insurance 也不用自己单独交的吧，是含在prepay里的。倒是受
到insurance company的账单，但他说同时也send a copy to my escrow company，我
是不是就不用管了？请好心人帮忙回答一下。多谢！

如果你的escrow包括税和insurance，那么你每个月交给他们，
他们每年给你付这两个bills。
二月份的mortgage interest你应该closing的时候交了，三月
的payment一般4/15前交，你3月底会收到账单。

LZ 这个情况比较奇怪，close 一个月了，你的 first payment 也差不多要 due 了，怎么说也应该收到 mortgage payment coupon 了。
due date 是，if you close in Month A, then the due date of ur 1st payment will be the 1st day of Month (A+2), with about 15 days of grace period (make sure your payment will arrive the mortgage account no later than 15th day of each month)

It's depends on your loan. If you close before 10th, and you chose short pay
( check your HUD page 2, there's no interest charge at closing), you need
pay your first bill on Mar.1st, no later than 15th. If it's not short pay,
your first payment due 4/1/10. The first mortgage statement should in the
whole package the title company gave to you at closing.

How big a risk are we talking about? And what's the nature of the risk?

The risk is that there might be an RFE for EVL. If approved, no risk at all
afterwards.

Congratulations to LZ! Still, I have many friends doing NIW got RFEd for
current EVL (to prove they are still working in the area of national
interest) -- all of them already included one when they submitted I-485 4
years ago, but still got RFEd anyways. So submitting 485 without a current
or future job is risky, even for NIW petitioner.
