借贵版请问一下：如果找明年一月份的postdoc,应该何时联系对方的老师？现在联系早
了吗？
另外，是应该同时联系圈内多个老师，还是应该一个一个联系，等一个说没有position
了再联系下一个？做我们这个方向全美也就四五个组，大家都知道彼此。会不会面试通
过了再不去我或者我的导师不好给人家解释？

My 2 cents:
1. The earlier, the better in most cases.
2. It is fine to contact multiple PIs at the same time but be specific about
your future research in his/her lab.

非常感谢楼上的回复。对于第二点，您是建议我在联系PI们的email里就明确我的在他
们组里的研究方向吗？还是面试的时候再当面讨论？

In your email, you can state what type of projects you are interested while
of course keeping certain flexibility. Most PIs like a well-thought-out plan
from postdoc applicants. Good luck.
