Both petitions submitted in Aug 2010, and both approved at the same time
last night, which sounds weird - Does it mean the same officer reviewed both
cases at the same time?
Just read my lawyer's (David Yang) email sent in at the midnight.
petitioned contribution, review, publication and critical role in an
organization.
My background:
18 journal papers
180 independent citations.
2 invention disclosures (lawyer said this does not play much weight).
7 references (2 dependents and 5 independents, from Australia, US, Singapore
, Taiwan, Canada, mainland China)
12 reviews for 10 journals.
The status has been stucked at initial review for the entire year, for which
I almost lost my mind.
I have to say I got a great lawyer who always reply my whatever questions
within 24 hours. He also let me go through the final version of petition
letter and send out only when we both agree on (I found many lawyers do not
let clients to see the final petition letter. They claim that is their own
copyright, which sucks).
BTW, my PhD was from foreign country. A friend of mine graduated from the
same country got successful eb1a experience with David Yang before and then
recommended him to me.
