I have some Beethoven's symphonies now, such as Symphonien Nos. 5 & 7 by
Kleiber. I was hunted by the idea of getting a box set.
A search in bmgmusic catalog results in (I don't have to buy here),
The Immortal Toscanini: Complete Beethoven Symphonies Boxed Set, 6 CD
Herbert von Karajan: Beethoven, The 9 Symphonies ('63) 5 CD
John Eliot Gardiner: Beethoven, The Nine Symphonies 5 CD
If you were to start over, which version of the Nine Symphonies would you buy?
Or should I look for individual bes
