前年10月被第一个公司layoff,
前年年底到找到一家大公司 (Jacobs Engineering）任职，当时HR说要工作一年
才能办绿卡，今天得知因为经济关系，HR还提到公司正在layoff，公司现在不办绿卡。
大家所在的公司都这样吗？

大家好，我从物理转到EE，小fellow 先不想跟老板，所以决定自己选课。以后想找
analog/RF 一类的工作，不太想programing 之类的digital了。。。因为对EE课程还是
不熟悉，请大家帮忙看看。
我这学期的课程选择有： 1.Analog Integrated Circuit Design；
2.Design of VLSI Circuits and Systems （这个是关于数
字的，可有些人说是基础，可以不选吗？）
3.Physics of Semiconductor Devices I
4.Signaling and Synchronization
5.Estimation and Detection in Communication and Radar
Engineering
6Introduction to MEMS???

I heard the company has to stop sponsoring any GC applications for 6
months from layoff occurs.
