问总的closing cost没有任何意义。它有两部分构成: lender escrow 应该问lender fee:就是lender收的所有,包括各种名目的,originating fee, document fee, processing fee, underwriting fee, appraisal fee,credit card check fee。 escrow closing fee is out of control by the lender.

买房的话,broker只能告知准确的银行收费,appraisal fee等,对于title, government recording,以及最终设计的tax,都应该去问自己的律师,或者是title 公司。银行不负责报也control不了这部分的收费,broker估的费用也只是参考。
