ft.. this is too long, my chinese too wrong, it'd be a lot
easier if everyone just go look at the original english text
instead. but here's what i've got so far. :)

这些都说不上"暇"吧.dotann最好的一点是都给出英文了.---既然你已经不可能
被弄晕了,还抱怨什么? 而且你怎么知道dotann的翻译就比那些以前的译者随手
写出来的就差? hmm...我觉得这个态度不是很好.

xixi, easylife提到的很对, 这些电影／书我都没看过中文的, 所以不知道
通用的名词翻译, 虽然我本人对一些电影译名觉得不以为然, 但是文字作为
交流手段, 当然是遵守常规比自己乱编好.:)

那些中文译本估计你看了就明白了,不知道lord of the ring是不是还有较
好的版本,反正我看到的那个,实在让我读不下去.因此我一点也不觉得那些
原本就是译者顺手粘来的名词翻译 有什么follow的必要.hehe

This article is about a hundred times longer than I remembered
it to be. :) But I shall work on it and try to finish it (a lot

'提的对'这话我可不敢当.很多习惯翻译就是个习惯而已,并不见的好.我当时忘了唐僧一
句:这些是习惯翻译.或者在瑕上加个引号什么的.Obi-Wan Kenobi 欧比王克鲁比怎么了?
这就是习惯翻译.我只是列出了习惯翻译,并不下自己的评论.
反正我的本意不是跳出来指责DoTaNN同学翻的不好,相反我认为IT工作的不错.不过考虑到
人人都有固定思维,如果有人习惯于见到一点点不随心的话就加以冷嘲热讽的话, 我就只
好说:算了,你横, 我怕了.这下你们满意了吧.

记得我第一次看到一片关于LOTR的文章，说菠萝蜜什么的，仔细一想，原来是Boromir.
真是分特啊。

嗯，LOTR和Star wars是我最喜欢的两个片子之一了。倒不是因为太深奥的东西，而是觉
得历史宏大，很受感动。
btw, 偶觉得杰代骑士翻译得非常贴切 :P

On a side note, Leni Riefenstahl dies today at 101... Her movie is
an interesting testimony of how, contrary to the above article,
political propoganda masked as art cannot, even in the case of the
"right" kind of propoganda such as "1984", rise above its political
status to become pure art.
