go go is mostly in the context of soccer, football etc
hardly hear go go in, say volleyball, basketball....etc
"please stay here" sounds very chinglish to me.
my hunch is these things are not very translatable....
这些客套话是不是和文化关系太近, 难以有适当的对应?
至少我看到的和经历的, 去老外家好象没有听人说
"请留步"之类, 可能他们从来不这么客套?

几次去老美家做客,临走时,他们都说 'take care',
在你跨出门后，就关们了，似乎没有说‘请留步‘的机会。

是啊, 偶也觉得这可能和文化习俗有关. 老美不这么说.
一定要翻译这些东西估计会很生硬

这更象主人对客人说的. "请留步"这种客人对主人说的我想象不出来米国有那种场
景. 所以我个人认为是没有对应词的---我们语言环境中的特殊语义的客套话.

哈哈..不是把, 你可以想象一下国内的场景, 比如你要走了, 主人要送你到楼下之类,
你会说"请留步" etc, 这种情况我在北美没见过也没碰到过...

一般也没那么文周揍, 一般是说"留步", "请回", "别送了", "回去把"etc etc
