2022年8月15日至18日,由世界上最大的专业技术组织之一——IEEE电气电子工程师学会(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers)主办、IEEE CISOSE董事会、IEEE未来科技峰会”组委会协办、美国悦海国际传媒、智源国际集团承办的——2022IEEE未来科技峰会(2022IEEE Summit On Future Technology Future)(以下简称:IEEE科技峰会)在美国硅谷希尔顿酒店内隆重举行。峰会吸引了来自美国本地,以及亚洲、欧洲等20多个国家的行业专业、学者汇聚一堂。
2022年10月10日召开的IEEE未来技术峰会回顾会上,讨论主题聚焦在智能机器和无人机技术、云和AI服务、工业应用等方面的未来需求和技术趋势。IEEE未来技术峰会组织主席、IEEE智能与面向服务系统工程国际联席大会(CISOSE)指导委员会主席Jerry Gao博士、无人机应用专家曹芳博士、BRI投资公司执行董事Jane Wu博士、美国电科院资深专家 王钦博士、峰会执行秘书长于丽娜等人参与了本次讨论会。

2023 IEEE未来科技峰会聚焦最前沿
(硅谷时报讯)2022年10月10日,IEEE未来技术峰会回顾及研讨会在硅谷举行,讨论主题聚焦在智能机器和无人机技术、云和AI服务、工业应用等方面的未来需求和技术趋势。IEEE未来技术峰会峰会组织主席、IEEE智能与面向服务系统工程国际联席大会(CISOSE)指导委员会主席Jerry Gao博士、无人机应用专家曹芳博士、BRI投资公司执行董事Jane Wu博士、美国电科院资深专家 王钦博士、峰会执行秘书长于丽娜等人参与了本次讨论会。会议由Jerry Gao博士主持,与会嘉宾们共同探讨了2023IEEE未来科技峰会的计划。
据高(Gao)博士谈到了令人振奋的2023年IEEE未来科技峰会计划,以及关于智能机器云、大数据和人工智能服务的主题。他还表示目前的无人机技术发展在边缘计算、云支持和智能服务等方面仍处于起步阶段。高 (Gao) 博士和团队成员认为,利用现代无人机云人工智能技术,将突破无人机行业的传统壁垒,促进多样化的技术创新和应用。无人机的商业应用正在稳步发展。虽然它还很年轻,但它已经吸引了众多工业集团、芯片公司、IT公司和主要农业运营商的注意。为了繁荣发展,高 (Gao) 博士计划在IEEE CISOE and IEEE未来 (SUMMIT) Organization Team支持下成立智能无人机 Cloud and AI联盟。该联盟旨在聚集IEEE研究社团、关键行业专家和学术研究人员,推动行业进入智能云时代。

BRI投资公司执行董事Jane Wu博士、美国电科院资深专家王钦博士也纷纷就这一主题分享了看法及行业相关经验。
据悉,智能无人机 Cloud and AI联盟,最初计划的项目是把当前的云和AI技术运用到无人机应用行业,以促进资产检查、精准农业、快递运输和配送、野生动物监测、灾害监测和援助等特定领域的无人机服务。联盟将由Jerry Gao博士、无人机应用专家曹芳博士、IEEE资深会员王钦博士、资深半导体高管兼投资者Jane博士成为联盟创始成员。
同时,高 (Gao)博士计划与IEEE指导委员会(CISOSE)和IEEE未来技术组织团队合作,与其他几位著名专家一起建立IEEE智能机器云和AI服务全球联盟(GC-SMCAI)。其主要任务是为智能机器云和AI服务提供全球技术和标准联盟。GC-SMCAI的范围包括智能机器(UAV、无人机和机器人)和AI服务、智能机器云计算和平台以及智能机器云AI服务。此外,随着当今数字经济更多地依靠开源运行,GC-SMCAI将开始开发开源智能无人机云AI平台1.0版,以解决当前智能机器技术(智能无人机、机器人和无人驾驶汽车)在连通性、云服务、大数据共享和人工智能服务方面的主要障碍。

2023 IEEE Future Technology Summit
Plan to focus onFutureSmart Machine Cloud and AI Services
(Silicon Valley Times) From August 15th to 18th, 2022, the 2022 IEEE Future Technology Summit (hereinafter referred to as: the Summit) was held in Silicon Valley, United States. The Summit was hosted by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, one of the largest professional technical organizations in the world and the IEEE International Congress on Intelligent and Service-Oriented Systems Engineering (CISOSE) Board of Directors. The Summit has attracted industry professionals and scholars from more than 20 countries including the United States, Asia, Europe and so on. Significant experts attending the Summit include: IEEE Fellow and ACM Distinguished Scientist of the World Computer Society, Professor Vincenzo Piuri of the University of Milan, Italy; IEEE Fellow and IEEE Wallace McDowell Award winner, IBM Honorary Fellow Jai Menon; Mayor of Fremont, where Tesla is headquartered, Lily Mei; Professor of National Taiwan University Li Hongyuan; Liang Min, executive director of the Precourt Energy Institute at Stanford University; Cai Weide, professor at Arizona State University and director of the Digital Society & Blockchain Lab; Taji, Taghi M. Khoshgoftaar, professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Florida Atlantic University; Xu Jie, Head of the Department of Computer Science, University of Leeds, UK; Sagnik Nandy, Jane Wu, managing director of BRI Capital Partners. Hundreds of top scientists, well-known scholars, entrepreneurs, investors from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore and other countries shared their experiences on various hot topics like Big Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Smart City, UAV Applications and Smart Machines.
Lina Yu, the chief editor of Silicon Valley Times, recently visited Dr. Jerry Gao, the summit organization chair of IEEE Future Technology Summit and the steering board chair of IEEE International Congress of on Intelligent and Service-Oriented Systems Engineering (CISOSE) to find out their plan for 2023. According to Dr. Gao, he talked about their exciting plan of IEEE Future Technology Summit 2023 and its major theme on Smart Machine Cloud, Big Data, and AI services. In the recent review meeting of IEEE Future Technology Summit 2022 on October 10, the discussion topic focuses on the future demand and technology trend on smart machines and UAV technology, cloud and AI services, and industrial applications. Dr. Gao and Dr. Fang Cao, drone application expert, Dr. Qin Wang, Senior IEEE member and Jane Wu, seasoned semiconductor executive and investor joined this hot topic discussion. According to Dr. Gao, the current UAV technology development is still in the infancy stage in edge computing, cloud support, and intelligence services. Dr. Cao discussed fast advances of drone technology, manufacturing, and drone-based IOT sensing, and pointed out the current major drone technology limits in intelligence and cloud support. Dr. Gao and the group members believes that leveraging modern UAV cloud services and AI techniques will break through the rigid traditional barriers in UAV industries and promote diverse technology innovations and applications. Commercial usage of drones is gaining steady momentum. While still being young, it already drawn attention from numerous industrial conglomerates, chip companies, IT firms, and major agriculture operators. To prosper development, Dr. Gao plan to found a Smart UAV consortium under IEEE future technologies. The consortium is aimed to gather IEEE research communities, Key industry experts, and academic researchers to advance the industry into next generation. Dr. Fang Cao, Drone expert, Dr. Qin Wang, Senior IEEE member and Jane Wu, seasoned semiconductor executive and investor joined the discussion and will become the founding member of the consortium.
The initial project planned is to leverage current cloud and AI technologies to the drone technology industry to promote domain-specific drone services in asset inspection, precision agriculture, express shipping and delivery, wildlife monitoring and disaster monitor and assistance.
Meanwhile Dr. Gao plans to work with IEEE CISOSE Steering Community Board and IEEE Future Technology Organization Team to establishment of IEEE Global Consortium on Smart Machine Cloud and AI Services (GC-SMCAI) along with several other prestigious experts. The major mission is to provide a global technical and standard consortium on smart machine cloud and AI service. The scopes of GC-SMCAI include Smart Machines (UAV, drone and robotics) and AI Services, Smart Machine Cloud Computing and Platforms, and Smart Machine Cloud AI Services. In addition, as today’s digital economy runs more on open source, the GC-SMCAI will start to develop an open-source Smart Drone Cloud AI Platform Version 1.0 to address the current major obstacles in current smart machine technologies (smart drone, Robotics, and autonomous driverless vehicles) in connectivity, cloud services, big data sharing, and artificial intelligent services.
