KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Building and maintain automated tests for single page web applications written in JavaScript using Ember.

  
  

• Enhance the single page web applications to better facilitate the tests.

  
  

• Write automated tests for your code. 

  
  

• Continually learn about the ever-evolving challenges and complexities of the cybersecurity industry. 

  
  

• Have fun solving hard problems.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• By the beginning of the internship, interns must have completed at least 2 years at a 4-year undergraduate university.

  
  

• An eagerness to learn through hands-on experience and collaborative projects specific to your internship field.

  
  

• Although CrowdStrike is a primarily remote company, collaboration is intrinsic to the success of our mission.

  
  

• Therefore, the strongest applicants will be those who can communicate effectively and frequently, and work well with fellow interns and employees.

  
  

• A good understanding of JavaScript and high level experience building web application user interfaces with modern frameworks such as Ember, React, Angular, or Vue.HTML & CSS skills, including experience with CSS pre- or post-processors (like Sass or PostCSS) and CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.

  
  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist application security testing team with profile and tool development. 

  
  

• Assist vulnerability intelligence program with tool, report, and profile development. 

  
  

• Assist threat hunting team with process documentation and advanced alert pattern development. 

  
  

• Develop and support new tools to assist event/log analysis and incident response lifecyclesIdentify coverage and efficiency gaps in overall product security toolchain.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• By the beginning of the internship, interns must have completed at least 2 years at a 4-year undergraduate university.

  
  

• Some experience in security either through work, education/training, or hobby. 

  
  

• Some knowledge of LinuxPrograming knowledge in at least 1 language (Python, Ruby, Perl, C, Java, others).

  
  

• Experience responding to security events, including front-line analysis and escalation, on hacktivist, cybercrime, and APT activity. 

  
  

• Work experience and knowledge on the operational functions of Linux and Unix systems. 

  
  

• Experience with system/application logs and IDS/SIEM systemsDevelopment experience with Python, Perl, C, or Java.
