美国政客演讲时，抗议者打断：“中国不是我们的敌人”

“中国不是我们的敌人，气候危机才是。”美国保守派智库传统基金会近期在华盛顿举行的一场活动上，一位女性抗议者喊道。

“China is not our enemy! The climate crisis is!” shouted a female protester as during Sen. Josh Hawley’s speech on foreign policy at the Heritage Foundation in Washington on Thursday.

美国国会共和党参议员乔希·霍利当时正在台上就美国外交政策发表演讲，恶意解读中国政策，大肆渲染“中国威胁论”。

这名抗议者突然走上讲台，展开一面写有“要人类和地球，不要战争和侵略”的自制海报，并对霍利说：美国拥有庞大的军队，每年耗费巨量资金，你代表的密苏里州，大量民众生活在贫困中。

Her sign referenced “war and aggression” and the name “Code Pink,” which is a reference to the female-led organization that aims to end US wars and militarism.

“I think you’re forgetting we have the largest military in the world, we spend over $1 trillion every year, and your state of Missouri, over half the people are in poverty,” the woman told Hawley on stage.

现场安保人员拉着抗议者的胳膊，强行将其带离现场。她继续大声说：“中国不是我们的敌人，气候危机才是（China is not our enemy, the climate crisis is.）。我们需要更严肃对待气候危机，而美国却持续挑衅中国……气候危机才是我们的共同威胁。”

美国反战组织“粉色代码”随后发表声明说，这名抗议者是该组织成员奥利维娅·迪努奇。声明说，霍利鼓吹美中对抗、回避合作应对气候危机等选民的真实关切，这种行为“不道德”。

"It is immoral for Senator Hawley to advocate for war with China instead of working in cooperation with China to combat the planet’s current climate crisis or address the real, urgent needs of his constituents."

迪努奇指责霍利不顾现实危机“继续喂养战争机器”，“我们需要把钱给穷人，而不是用于战争，我们需要赔偿那些我们破坏的国家。”迪努奇表示，“我们现在需要外交与和平！”

"The audience laughed as she was pulled off the stage but what is not funny is that Hawley’s home state of Missouri has been greatly affected by the climate crisis. Flooding is the deadliest severe weather hazard in Missouri. In 2015 alone, flooding killed 27 people in the state, with 11 people dying during torrential rain and flash flooding on one night alone. Climate disasters disproportionately affect poor and low wealth people, which makes flooding due to the climate crisis a catastrophe in a state like Missouri where over 2 million residents live in poverty."

“粉色代码”还对比了中美在气候问题上的做法：美军是世界上消耗石油量最多的机构，排放温室气体量超过140个国家；中国正力争在2060年前实现碳中和目标，并积极投资发展清洁能源。

在该组织看来，无休止战争是对人类的威胁，也是气候危机的重要原因之一。

“粉色代码”在声明中说，“美国不能对中国挑起另一场昂贵且致命的冲突。我们必须为亚太地区数十亿人以及原生态系统发声。世界人民要的是合作，而不是更多战争！（The people of the world want cooperation, not more wars!）”

"The US military is the world’s largest institutional oil consumer and causes more greenhouse gas emissions than 140 nations combined. In the meantime, China is pledging to be carbon neutral by 2060 and actively investing in clean energy. Funding endless war is an existential threat to human life and one of the leading causes of the climate crisis."
