紫色梦想照进了戈壁滩,也照亮了绿色固碳之路
贺兰山,位于内蒙古和宁夏交界,南北绵延200多公里,西临腾格里沙漠,东面黄河。在贺兰山东麓,西北的风沙和高寒气流被大山阻断;黄河蜿蜒流过,山河怀抱造就了一种独特的地理环境。
这里气候干燥少雨、光照热量充足,昼夜温差大,砂石土壤透气性好,十分适合葡萄生长。得天独厚的自然条件,让这里成了葡萄园和酒庄的绝佳选址地。
戈壁滩变金沙滩
然而,在这片独特的土地上种上葡萄苗对上世纪九十年代的人们来说,并不是一件容易的事。
原宁夏闽宁镇福宁村书记谢兴昌回忆起刚来到这里时,只能看到一眼望不到头的戈壁滩,沙尘暴能吹跑他们临时搭起的帐篷。
当时来宁帮扶的福建商人陈德启在贺兰山东麓承包了一片寸草不生的戈壁滩,规划种植十万亩的葡萄园。项目初期,沙尘暴会掀起工人们搭起的彩钢房房顶。
即使面临意想不到的恶劣环境,此后十多年间,他们还是一心一意造林整地,经过一年又一年的努力,土壤环境逐步改善,他们不断引进、试验适合在这里种植的葡萄品种,最终达成了“戈壁滩变金沙滩”的美好愿景。
当地人民不向命运妥协,如葡萄一样,在这片戈壁滩上扎下了根,用奋斗的精神谱写了改天换地的史诗。
如今,宁夏贺兰山东麓产区葡萄种植面积达到52.5万亩,占全国的1/3,是全国最大的酿酒葡萄集中连片产区。现有酒庄228家,年产葡萄酒1.3亿瓶,每年为当地群众提供就业岗位13万个,综合产值达到300亿元。
2021年,宁夏被全球葡萄酒旅游组织授予“全球葡萄酒旅游目的地”,成为宁夏最受世界瞩目的“紫色名片”。宁夏文化和旅游厅还发布了10条葡萄酒庄休闲旅游精品线路,吸引各地游客慕名打卡体验。
2013年,贺兰山东麓优质葡萄产区被编入《世界葡萄酒地图》,宁夏也因此入选《纽约时报》评选出全球2013年必去的46个最佳旅游地,称“在宁夏,可以酿造出中国最好的葡萄酒”。
葡萄园成天然生态屏障
除了卓越的社会效益,贺兰山东麓50多万亩的葡萄产业园对宁夏平原的自然环境也起到重要的调节作用。
The grape industry in the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains provides not only outstanding social benefits but plays a crucial role in regulating the natural environment.
它不仅是宁夏平原的一个重要氧吧,而且承担了防风固沙,节水固碳,洪水拦蓄的生态屏障功能。
It serves as an important oxygen bar for Ningxia while acting as a windbreak and ensures sand fixation, water conservation, carbon fixation and flood interception.
宁夏大学生态环境学院杜灵通研究员表示,葡萄叶片吸收二氧化碳进行光合作用,通过葡萄藤和根系将二氧化碳转入土壤中。
According to Du Lingtong, a researcher at the School of Ecology and Environment of Ningxia University, grape leaves absorb carbon dioxide during photosynthesis, and through the grape vine and root system, carbon dioxide is transferred to the soil.
在这个过程中,固定在植物体内的碳量约占30%,其余大量碳固定在土壤中,形成一个大的碳库。因此葡萄园生态系统可以固碳释氧,对绿色环境十分有利。
About 30 percent of the fixed carbon is stored in the plant during this process, while a significant amount of carbon is fixed in the soil, forming a large carbon pool. As a result, the grapevine ecosystem is highly favorable for carbon sequestration.
雪佛兰引领低碳化转型
去年10月,中国日报社发起了“碳路行动计划”,携手宁夏贺兰山东麓葡萄酒管理委员会开展的碳汇葡萄园认养项目。
In October, China Daily launched the Carbon Road Action Plan, which cooperates with the Administrative Committee of the Grape Industry Zone of the Helan Mountain Eastern Foothills to encourage companies and individuals to adopt a vineyard.
上汽通用雪佛兰积极响并认养了宁夏贺兰山东麓产区的100亩葡萄园。此项目作为“雪佛兰·低碳保护计划”,可固碳60吨,为企业低碳化转型做出标杆示范。
SAIC GM Chevrolet took the lead and adopted a 100-acre grapevine, which is expected to help absorb 60 tons of carbon dioxide. As Chevrolet Low-Carbon Protection Project, it sets an example for other companies to follow in their low-carbon transformation efforts.
上汽通用汽车雪佛兰事业部周鹏部长表示:我们深知环保的重要性,也非常支持中国2030年“碳达峰”与2060年“碳中和”的目标。
Zhou Peng, director of business division at SAIC GM Chevrolet, said: “Chevrolet places great emphasis on environmental protection and fully supports China’s aim of reaching its peak carbon emissions by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060."

Chevrolet launched the Yangtze Finless Porpoise Conservation Program in partnership with nature conservation organizations the World Wildlife Fund and the One Planet Foundation in 2022.
