韩国选手道歉了!爆冷输球后曾摔球拍、拒绝握手
South Korean tennis star Kwon Soon-woo has been thrust into the spotlight after smashing his racket and refusing a post-match handshake following a shocking upset in the second round of the 19th Asian Games.
Kwon Soon-woo issued an apology letter to fans on the same day, acknowledging that as a national representative athlete, he had acted impulsively and expressed his remorse, saying, "I'm sorry."

The Korean Sports & Olympic Committee (KSOC) issued an official apology Tuesday for Kwon's unsportsmanlike conduct.

When Thailand’s Samrej Kasidit served the final blow, sealing a 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 win in Hangzhou, Kwon – ranked more than 500 places higher than his opponent at No 112 – slammed his racket against the ground repeatedly. Then he walked toward the sidelines and continued smashing his racket against the legs of his changeover chair.

Samrej approached the South Korean to shake hands, but Kwon ignored him, not even sparing a glance. Samrej then left Kwon alone and bowed to a cheering crowd.

The 25-year-old Korean tennis player had been considered a strong gold medal hopeful in the men's singles for his career of two ATP titles and a third-round finish at a Grand Slam tournament. He has been ranked as high as world No 52.
It was a second unsavoury incident in as many days for the South Korean delegation in Hangzhou, after judo athlete Lee Hye-kyeong was disqualified on Sunday.
