如果我是招聘的人，如果有两个差不多的candidate，一个被Layoff，一个是现在还有工作，我会选那个有工作的，而且如果layoff之后的gap太长（比如3个月以上），我就很不太会考虑。大家说这种想法有道理吗？

你就回答为啥觉得这个工作适合你你适合这个位置就行了，没必要那么实诚回答为何离开上一份工作。

一定要实话实说，可以稍微夸张但是基本事实不能扭曲。发现你说谎比知道你被layoff更会turndown offer。
你可以说，公司改制，新的位置自己不合适，或者说新的职位没有chellenge, 所以自己选择拿大包裹离开公司再找合适的职位
