我目前是F1身份，PhD最后一年，按理说该琢磨找工作了。但是目前在和朋友一起做互
联网方向startup，犹豫毕业后是否要full time。
首先需要解决的就是身份问题。这方面资料不多，所以想在版上咨询一个大概的方向。
目前朋友刚注册了公司，也拿到一些风投了，产品还在开发完善阶段。假设我毕业后走
这条路，是否有绕过H1B抽签的可能性？例如是否有给科技公司founder和cofounder的
签证类型呢？L签证是一个opiton吗？

PhD的话，申请O－1. 需要律师我可以推荐。

如果9月到08年7月。。。是指08年7月的能交485？还是能拿绿卡阿。。。那接下来09年
的要等多少年阿？是不是08年7月是个分水岭。。接下来又是漫长的等待，直到08年7月
之前的拿到绿卡，才有可能09年的再交485。。。也就是09年的要等个3，5年才有可能
交485。。。
09年的pd你伤不起阿，有木有！！！！！！！！！

Comfort.......
It has small chance of moving PD to 2009. My source believes it will be Q1/
Q2 of 2008. My attoney's law firm did careful data analysis and they found
it can bring 35k more demand if the Sep PD is in Q2 of 2008.
We have a wrong perception that the demand of 2008 is low. The truth is that
Indians filed more than 23k PERM in 2008 and Chinese filed 4k PERM in 2008.
There is a huge demand in 2008.
14k Indians and 3k Chinese with PERM of 2007, but didn't submit 485 yet. If
you count their families, you can imagine the demand number!
Total PERM of India and China before 2008.12 is around 44k (people didn't
file 485 yet plus the PERM after August 2007). The total demand before you
is about 50-60k. I don't want to upset you, but this is the truth.

你可以上网查一下，最好咨询一下移民律师。我隐约记得如果你在自己的公司办H1-B，
因为你是Owner,可能会对你将来申请绿卡有影响。总之，这么大的事，最好花点钱咨询
一下移民律师。

唉。。。刚看隔壁的帖子说现在一般等3年就能绿，我还小兴奋一下。。。这下认清形
势的严峻了。。。
