想用ead找工作，可以吗？
听说485不到6个月用ead会有问题，什么问题啊？
是不是说我要等到6月份用ead比较安全
急啊，人家08的都拿到绿卡了
我07的老排期还在等

主申请人还是180天再用ead换工作吧，副申请人随便。

借楼主的帖问个问题，I485 180天内，在公司内换到不同的州，需不需要换H1？如果
要，可不可以用EAD?

另外回答楼主的问题.
485不到6个月用ead会有风险，如果原雇主撤销你的I-140,那么485就会被拒。

once you used EAD, your legal status is changing to the 485 PENDING...once
your 485 peition is rejected...then it would be a disaster....~!
YOU DONT have to present the EAD if you change the job..new employer would
have to transfer visa..this is the safest way to keep your status before GC
coming....anyway, it is better than less....

i personally dont recomment you do that in current pending period...no
matter what type of visa status it is (H-1b,or J-1), once you use the EAD,
you will lose the current primary status (H-1b,or J-1) and turn to 485
pending status....if your 485 is denied, nightmare is coming....~!
Think about it~!

the best person using EAD for new job is H-4,J2 holder....
they dont have much risk of losing their legal status in US even their own
485 case is denied...cause their spouse is still legally working with H1b/J1
status..
why dont you wait until the GC is issued ? dont have to rush to find job
