不太可能把，有点经验的就算被裁，还是很容易找到工作的，估计还是人家喜欢。

叫兽好像钱也不少，开的offer一般是9个月的，一开始一般有8-12万，乘上4/3
就变成10.6 - 16万了。各种福利，工作稳定性就不用说了，

关于私立大学，没有数据，我不敢乱说，公立大学的工资都是公开的，如果你有兴趣，你还可以查到具体某个系的工资。 显然那个数字是想象出来的。商学院，法学院，医学院，另当别论。都是做科学和工程的，大胆假设没错，还需要小心求证吧。就象前面讨论工业界 IC 设计能挣多少钱，不相信劳工部的数据，偏偏要相信道听途说的，那就没办法了。当然心中有梦，生活才会更美好。给你 University of california system and California State University system 一些大概数据。 自己看看吧，

First, it's only the state univ. Private univ pays much higher.
Second, CS/EE pays much higher than engineering. Business school pays much
higher than $93200. That's for sure.
Third, what I report is what I personally know, not "rumor".
Fourth, among my friends, those go to academic are really smart guys.
There are also smart guys went to industry, but there are also dumb guys
(like me) got absorbed by industry.
